Maximum Versatility Across All Terrain
The Psychonaut is Amplid’s adventurous all-terrain explorer, blending twin-ish powder performance with agile handling across varied conditions. Built with carbon Pop Bands for enhanced control and HEXO2 honeycomb in the nose to reduce swing weight, this board is as playful as it is powerful. With a midwide shape for stability on groomers and a low camber profile for added float, the Psychonaut excels in cranky turns and deep powder slashes. The wingered tail is perfect for surfy powder carves, and there’s just enough tailkick for secure switch landings. From untracked lines to resort laps, the Psychonaut is a versatile board that guarantees fun.
Tapered Twin
Blends twin flex with a subtly tapered shape, narrowing slightly toward the tail. This geometry maintains freestyle playfulness while offering better float in deep snow. Ideal for backcountry freestyle and creative powder riding.
Cruise Camber
A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Cruise Camber’s toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel, much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.
Swing weight, no thanks.
HEXO2 honeycomb inlays in the tip and tail cut unnecessary weight right where it matters most – reducing swing weight for faster spins, easier turn initiation, and a more agile ride when it gets tight.
Where physics meets surf aesthetics.
The wingered swallowtail reduces the surface area behind your back foot, helping the tail sink in powder so the nose rises naturally—giving you effortless float and a surf-like ride. The wingers, however, maintain effective edge behind your rear foot, so you still get solid grip and control when carving.
