The BACKCOUNTRY snowboard boot boasts a combination of space-saving volume with high performance materials. This means responsiveness and control while maintaining a good feel between the board and the ground. A persistent call to action. Surfing with BACKCOUNTRY boot means power, creativity and adventure.
ANATOMICAL SHAPE
The anatomical shape for the best custom fit for climbing as well as free-riding. It ensures a precise fit and high-performance, for a highly precise descent even on the steep slopes while providing a great support when climbing.
SHELL
White insert and black carbon looking leather to increase lateral stability allowing frontal inclination during ascent and descent. The Cordura® insert ensures durability.
1. RUBBER RAND PROTECTION
Around the boot designed to withstand the most extreme conditions such as abrasion while climbing for an increased durability. It provides support when using the crampons and ensuring a solid boot structure.
2. CLOSURE LACING SYSTEM
Low-profile lacing system improves the contact between boot and binding. The Velcro® strap allows a complete closure of the shell for a uniform and precise closure.
LINER
Combination of high technical materials to get the thinnest thickness and highest feeling. Cordura + PU with double pull tab for a perfect fit. Extremely snug and tight to allow the highest feeling during the free-ride. Flat external stitching and anti-slip sole.
Thin Form
147 pieces designed and assembled to form a unique boot of its kind. Volume, size and reduced thickness enhance the highest feeling. A cross-breeding boot combining a mountaineering and a snowboard boot. Customized technical materials combined with the highest performance, protection and support. The insole, the multi-layer double density construction of the midsole and the sole deliver the highest standard of sensitivity and accuracy. FITWELL-PRO removable liner in contact with the shell creates feelings of security and reliability.
