Peter Bauer drew on years of experience with the Singular series to craft the Soulmate—an all-mountain board that feels like the perfect match for any terrain. With a modern nose, subtle taper, and a sparrow tail, the Soulmate brings agility and float on deep powder days while maintaining smooth control on groomed runs. Its minimalist “no-graphics” design offers Amplid’s exceptional performance at an approachable price, making the Soulmate a versatile, budget-friendly board ready to go wherever you do.

Tapered Directional

With a setback stance, longer nose, and narrower tail, this shape is built for freeride domination. Tapered Directional boards offer superior float, smoother turns, and added stability at speed, making them the go-to for big mountain missions.

Cruise Camber

A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Cruise Camber’s toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel, much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.

The Purist Series keeps it simple—on purpose. With its sleek matte finish, it doesn’t just look sharp, it also helps keep production costs down. And like every board in Amplid’s lineup, it now skips traditional UV lacquer altogether, replaced by a solvent-free matte coating that’s easier on the environment. A board that rides clean—and thinks clean—just like the rest of the family.

Soulful Control with a Subtle Cut

The Sparrow Tail on the Soulmate blends a classic tail shape with a subtle cut-out, creating just the right amount of sink to lift the nose naturally in deep snow—no back-leg burn, just effortless float and smooth, surfy turns. It still provides reliable edge hold and control on hardpack, and thanks to its generous tail kick, switch landings and riding out feel confident and natural.

• All Terrain Tips. A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.
• Bezièr Curves We replace standard radii with Beziér curves in our sidecut and nose design, allowing us to precisely calculate the core’s flex curve for the most harmonious ride imaginable.
• Biax Glass Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.
• Carbon Pop Band A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a ski or snowboard from tip-to-tail increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness.
• Extruded Base If we didn’t tell you, you’d think this base was sintered. Amplid’s mind-boggling extruded base material offers next level glide properties and rarely needs waxing.
• Impact Pads In the top laminate we have added multidirectional glass pads in the binding area, to avoid dings caused by the pointy corners of binding bases. These pads enhance durability while only adding minimal weight.
• Omni Core This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lightweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.
• Shred ready Boards come factory-tuned with two Scotch wax runs and a 90°/0° edge setup, leaving all options open for customizing your own edge angles.
• Thick Cut Thick Cut Cores feature a thicker profile in the tip and tail to suit a wider range of rider physiques, reduce vibrations, increase targeted stiffness, and enhance float, control, and stability in deep snow.
