It a well-known fact that Hope makes bulletproof wheels, all of which are machine built and hand finished in Barnoldswick.
The Fortus rim is built on Hopes bulletproof Pro 4 hubs. With a standard J-bend hub. Wheels are available in the 6 standard Hope colours.
A large diameter spoke flange helps to build a stiffer wheel making a better ride. With stainless steel, sealed cartridge bearings to help then run smoothly for longer.
